Affiliate disclosure
Plain statement of how this site makes money, kept in sync with what is actually true.
We do not currently receive compensation from third-party providers. If that changes, this page and every outbound call to action will say so.
What a referral relationship means here
This website publishes general information about state licensing requirements and, where available, links to independent third-party providers that offer an eligibility review or application-assistance service. If a compensated relationship exists with a provider, we may receive payment when a visitor uses that provider’s services after clicking through from this site.
How compensation affects the content
It does not change the state information we publish. Licensing categories, issuing-authority notes, and the requirement summaries are written from the state’s own framework, and they stay the same whether or not a provider is available for that state. When no provider is available for a state, the page says so instead of routing you somewhere unrelated.
Where you will see this stated
Every outbound provider link is labeled before you click it, and it tells you that you are continuing to an independent third-party website. Where a compensated relationship exists, the compensation statement appears alongside that same call to action — not buried on this page alone.
What compensation does not buy
No provider can pay to be described as government-affiliated, to have eligibility or approval guaranteed, or to have this site claim it issues permits or processes applications. Those claims are false and we will not publish them. Final determinations are made by the relevant government authority.
